Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
SERVICE RELATED FAQs
What’s the difference between soft washing and pressure washing?
Soft washing uses low-pressure water and eco-friendly solutions to clean delicate surfaces. Pressure washing uses high-pressure jets for hard surfaces like stone or concrete.
What surfaces can you clean?
We clean roofs, render, brickwork, driveways, patios, decking, uPVC, gutters, and more – always using the right method for the material.
Do you serve both residential and commercial properties?
Yes. We work on private homes, apartment blocks, commercial buildings, retail spaces, industrial sites, schools, and more.
Will pressure washing damage my surfaces?
No. We adjust the pressure depending on the surface and use the right attachments to prevent damage.
How do you remove moss from roofs?
We manually scrape moss, apply biocide treatments to kill spores, and rinse gently – never high-pressure washing on tiles.
Is roof cleaning safe for my tiles and home?
Yes. We use safe, non-damaging techniques and inspect roofs before and after using drones or access platforms.
How often should I have my roof cleaned?
Every 2 to 5 years is typical. We also offer preventive treatments to slow regrowth between cleans.
How do you clean gutters?
We use powerful vacuum systems or manual removal to clear blockages and ensure full water flow.
How often should gutters be cleaned?
At least once a year – ideally in autumn. Twice a year if your property is surrounded by trees.
Can you remove stubborn stains like oil or black spots?
Yes. We use specialist cleaning solutions for stains like oil, algae, rust, and black lichen on stone or concrete.
Do you re-sand block paving after cleaning?
Yes. We reapply kiln-dried sand after cleaning to stabilise paving and can also seal the surface for extra protection.
What is a drone inspection and should I have one?
Drone inspections provide high-res aerial photos of your roof and gutters. Ideal for damage checks, before/after comparisons, or areas with difficult access.
BOOKIGN & PRICING FAQs
How much do your services cost?
Prices vary by size, access, surface condition, and complexity. We offer free, no-obligation quotes tailored to your needs.
How do I get a quote – and is it free?
Yes, it’s free. We can quote via site visit, photos, or drone inspection. No hidden charges.
How long will the cleaning take?
Most jobs are completed in a few hours. Roof cleans can take 1–2 days. We provide a time estimate upfront.
Do I need to be home during the clean?
No. As long as we have access to taps, plugs, and gates, you can be away. We clean respectfully and tidy up fully.
Can you work evenings or weekends?
Yes. We offer flexible, out-of-hours cleaning to suit business hours or household schedules.
What happens if it rains on the day?
Light rain won’t stop us. In case of heavy rain, freezing temperatures, or storms, we’ll reschedule with no extra cost.
